It all began with New York City-based bachelor perfumer Ann Stillman, when he opened the first TGI Friday’s restaurant on Third Avenue, 63rd Street, in downtown New York. And the revenues of the first year of the restaurant amounted to one million dollars. Legend has it that Myrna was coaching a rowing team that was known for its failure and losing most of the races, but it brought them a series of victories. But on the day of the tournament, Myrna is said to have disappeared, leaving her shoe in the boat.
