Jebel Hafeet, rising to 1,249 meters, is the highest peak in Abu Dhabi and the second tallest in the UAE. Located on the outskirts of Al Ain, this mountain offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding desert landscapes.
The road to Jebel Hafeet’s summit is renowned for its winding curves and scenic vistas, making it a favorite among driving enthusiasts. At the top, visitors are rewarded with breathtaking views, especially during sunrise and sunset.
At the mountain’s base lies the Jebel Hafeet Beehive Tombs, dating back to the Bronze Age (3200–2600 BCE). These ancient burial sites have given their name to the “Hafit Period” in UAE history.
Nestled at the foothills, Green Mubazzarah is a verdant oasis featuring hot springs, picnic areas, and family-friendly facilities. It’s an ideal spot for relaxation after exploring the mountain.
