Founded in 2014, the Al Qasimia University is a private higher education institution located in the large city of Sharjah (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially licensed by the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates, Al Qasimia University (AQU) is a coeducational Emirati higher education institution. Al Qasimia University (AQU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor’s degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. AQU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, as well as administrative services.
