Our students’ future is theirs to grasp. As an education provider, it is up to me as Principal and the staff at ADNOC Schools, Madinat Zayed to help empower students with the knowledge, confidence and outlook to become 21st Century learners. In doing so, they can meet and exceed their full potential, in order to create a positive future for themselves.
This is the aim for our entire student cohort, which today comprises a diverse mix of ambitious Emirati’s and expats. With an eye to the future, we are shaping them into tomorrow’s leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs – as well as global citizens, so they can thrive in the UAE and furthermore, the world.
In 2017, our ability to meet this end was strengthened by an agreement to be managed by Aldar Academies, Abu Dhabi’s leading education provider. Now, another area of focus for Madinat Zayed is on progress and constant development, so that we can better serve our community.
Already we have improved the curriculum to increase the number of science and mathematics lessons – two of the ‘STEAM’ skills that will be so influential to our students’ futures. Additional extra-curricular activities increase the opportunities to learn, while enhancements have been made to our facilities to create a more comfortable learning environment.
