Voulant à tout prix regagner les faveurs de son cousin Louis XIV, le Grand Condé le reçoit, ainsi que la Cour, dans son château de Chantilly, du 23 au 25 avril 1671. Afin d’organiser cette réception inoubliable, il peut compter sur la crème des maîtres d’hôtel : François Vatel.
Mais ce dernier, flanqué d’une équipe incontrôlable, n’est pas au bout de ses surprises. Entre coups tordus et coups du sort, les préparatifs s’avèrent plus tumultueux que prévu.

A hysterical historical comedy that takes you behind the scenes of the great French cuisine of the 17th century and pays tribute to a character with an exceptional destiny: François Vatel.
Wanting at all costs to regain the favor of his cousin King Louis XIV, the Grand Condé receives him, as well as the Court, in his castle of Chantilly, from April 23 to 25, 1671. In order to organize this unforgettable reception, he can count on the cream of the maître d’hôtel: François Vatel.
But the latter, flanked by an uncontrollable team, is not at the end of his surprises. Between twists and turns of fate, the preparations turn out to be more tumultuous than expected.
