A. Personal Information
During registration and account creation, we collect:
- Account Details: Your name and email address. This is used to create your profile and securely link your session history to your account.
B. Voice and Audio Data
To provide the AI voice assistant feature, we request permission to access your device's microphone:
- Audio Recording: When you press and hold the microphone button, the App records audio PCM buffers.
- Speech Processing: The captured voice chunks are streamed securely to our backend servers to transcribe speech to text (ASR) and generate AI responses.
- No Permanent Audio Storage: We only process audio in real-time. Raw audio files are not permanently stored on our servers.
C. Chat History and Session Logs
To support chat continuity and cross-device syncing, we save:
- Text Transcripts: The written text of questions you ask and the replies generated by the AI travel assistant.
- Local Caching: A copy of your session history is cached locally on your device (AsyncStorage) for instant loading.
- Cloud Synchronization: Transcripts are synced and stored in our secure database to let you resume conversations from other logged-in devices.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To operate the real-time AI voice assistant, transcription, and travel itinerary generation.
- Account Syncing: To synchronize your saved sessions and favorite travel guides across your devices.
- Experience Improvement: To optimize local text-to-speech rendering, transcription accuracy, and AI RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) trip planner search results.
- Security: To protect against unauthorized access to your account and session logs.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Encryption: All data transferred between the App and our backend servers (including audio streams and chat transcripts) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS) protocols.
- Access Control: Access to database records is strictly restricted to authorized services using secure authentication keys.
- Local Retention: Cache files on your local device (such as temporary audio buffers) are automatically wiped as soon as speech synthesis is completed or when you log out.

- Microphone Permissions: You can revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings. Disabling permissions will deactivate the voice chat features.
- Session Deletion: You can delete individual chat sessions from the App's history screen or sidebar menu, which removes the history from your local cache and our cloud database.
- Account Deletion: You can request a complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us directly.
6. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete the information immediately.
